Don't miss this special opportunity! The Diabetes Scholars Foundation Scholarship Program is available to incoming freshmen seeking a higher education at an accredited four year university, college, technical or trade school. This scholarship recognizes students who are actively involved in the diabetes community, who have high academic performance, who participate in community and/or extra-curricular activities and who have demonstrated that they are successfully managing the challenges of living with diabetes. Diabetes Scholars Foundation scholarships are not based on financial need. There are now 4 JDRF Scholarships included in the list.
The JDRF Medical/Research Scholarship ($1,000) will be awarded to a student majoring in Healthcare

Adult Type 1 Tool Kit: As we all know, children with T1D grow up to be adults with T1D. To request the Adult Type 1 Toolkit please click here. Mentor Program: When you or your child was diagnosed with Type1 did you wish you had someone to talk to about all the changes? Well this is your opportunity to be that person for someone who is newly diagnosed. Please contact Alix Heald at aheald@jdrf.org if you are interested in becoming a mentor. If you are interested in being matched with a mentor please complete a Bag of Hope request form and return it to the JDRF office.
