The 2011 Children's Congress was once again a great success! This year, the Eastern PA Chapter was represented by three young delegates, Hannah Rowan, Ashley Dasika, and Samantha Dasika! The delegates were able to meet Judge Sonia Sotomayor, Crystal Bowersox, Mary Tyler Moore, Gary Hall, along with a number of other celebrities as well as tour the sites of DC and testify within the halls of Congress.

Artificial Pancreas Project - To make the artificial pancreas a reality, JDRF has begun an aggressive campaign to research the benefits of continuous glucose monitoring and artificial pancreas technology on patients with type 1 diabetes. We will also play a role in speeding approval and health insurance coverage of these treatments and devices.
